Australia Defeated Team India By 6 Wickets In WC23 Final

Team India got heart breaking defeat in the final against Australia, a wave of dejection swept through the players. Captain Rohit Sharma and Mohammed Siraj, unable to contain their emotions, shed tears. Rohit hastily made his way to the dressing room, while Jasprit Bumrah was observed consoling Siraj. Virat Kohli, too, displayed deep disappointment. The players’ wives and fans found themselves unable to hold back tears.

Australia’s captain, Pat Cummins, won the toss and opted to bowl. The Indian team posted a total of 240 runs in 50 overs. Australia chased down the target, scoring 241 runs for four wickets in 43 overs. This marks India’s second defeat in a final against Australia, with the previous one occurring in 2003 under the captaincy of Ricky Ponting.
