In anticipation of this monumental event, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has orchestrated special arrangements, including an exhilarating air show during the match.The renowned ‘Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team’ from the Indian Air Force has been enlisted to perform a captivating 10-minute air show.

The prospect of Prime Minister Narendra Modi attending the match adds to the excitement. Additionally, cricket legends Mahendra Singh Dhoni, winner of the 2011 World Cup, and Kapil Dev, victor of the 1983 World Cup, along with the families of Indian players, are expected to be in attendance.

The guest list extends to include numerous prominent figures from both India and around the globe, totaling more than 100 Very Very Important Persons (VVIPs). Approximately 100 chartered planes are slated to land at Ahmedabad airport on Sunday to accommodate these distinguished guests.

Among the VIPs on the list are PM Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Minister of State for Home, Union Minister Anurag Singh Thakur, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Chief Ministers from eight states, including Assam and Meghalaya, Tamil Nadu Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, RBI Governor, and prominent industrialists Nita Ambani and Lakshmi Mittal. The attendance of Bollywood celebrities, the Deputy Prime Minister of Australia, the Australian delegation, Ambassadors from Singapore, America, and the UAE, as well as justices and former justices from the Supreme Court and Gujarat High Court, is also expected.

Senior officials from both the BCCI and ICC will be present at the stadium to witness the match unfold. It’s worth noting that India and Australia are poised to face off in the World Cup final after a 20-year hiatus since their last encounter in the 2003 ODI World Cup, where Australia emerged victorious.

The current Indian team, captained by Rohit Sharma, sees this as a golden opportunity to avenge that defeat.
