Rahul Dravid’s contract as the head coach of the Indian cricket team expires after the completion of the ICC World Cup 2023. In such a situation, there is now suspense about three things. First, will Rahul extend his contract? Secondly, if not Dravid, who will be the coach of Team India? Thirdly, if not with India, then with which team will Dravid be associated? However, two things seem to be answered now. There are media reports that Rahul Dravid could be associated with one of these IPL franchises.
Rahul Dravid has not extended his contract as the head coach of the Indian cricket team. According to the report, the BCCI is likely to hold a meeting with Dravid to know about the future strategy but it is unlikely that he will seek an extension. If Dravid’s association with Team India ends, LSG will do everything possible to make him their mentor. Recently, Gautam Gambhir stepped down as the mentor of the Lucknow Super Giants and joined the Kolkata Knight Riders. He was also the captain of KKR. Reports are coming that talks are going on with Rahul Dravid’s IPL franchise Lucknow Super Giants. He can join them as a mentor.
According to reports, Rahul Dravid wants to spend more time with his family. Due to the busy schedule of the Indian team, he is not able to take out his family time. So Dravid is now looking at an IPL franchise, which only works for Two or Two and a half months.

VVS Laxman May Be India’s New Coach
There are also reports that after Rahul Dravid, former legendary batsman VVS Laxman will be the new coach of Team India. Laxman is currently the coach of the Indian team in the ongoing T20I series between India and Australia. India won the first T20I against Australia by 2 wickets. Now the next match of the series will be played on November 26, Sunday.
Under Dravid, the Indian team could not win the ICC trophy, but the team’s performance in the bilateral series was excellent. India are currently the No. 1 ranked team in all three formats.
