He recently had a meeting with Ahmedabad officials to discuss this issue, and it is anticipated that he will sign a long-term contract to coach Team India. According to the report, he will begin coaching after the tour of South Africa.

The Indian team is currently slated to play five Twenty20 matches against Australia. Suryakumar Yadav has been named captain for this series, while V.V.S. Laxman will fulfill the role of coach.
