India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bowl at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Pakistan team was reduced to 191 runs in 42.5 overs.
In reply, India won the match by scoring 192 runs for three wickets in 30.3 overs. Team India continued its winning streak against Pakistan in World Cup history. This is eighth victory of team India Vs Pakistan and they are still undefeated against them in this tournament.
Captain Rohit Sharma played a brilliant inning of 86 runs. At the same time, Jasprit Bumrah took two wickets for 19 runs in seven overs. He was awarded as player of the match.

Ravindra Jadeja took 2 wickets after spending 38 runs. He has completed 100 ODI wickets in India. He became only the sixth player to do so. Siraj and Hardik also got 2 successes each.
