India vs Pakistan-India defeated Pakistan by seven wickets in the 12th match of the World Cup. India has achieved its third consecutive win in the tournament.

India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bowl at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Pakistan team was reduced to 191 runs in 42.5 overs.

In reply, India won the match by scoring 192 runs for three wickets in 30.3 overs. Team India continued its winning streak against Pakistan in World Cup history. This is eighth victory of team India Vs Pakistan and they are still undefeated against them in this tournament.

Captain Rohit Sharma played a brilliant inning of 86 runs. At the same time, Jasprit Bumrah took two wickets for 19 runs in seven overs. He was awarded as player of the match.

Invited to bat first pakistan started well, Both Openers played very carefully the on team score of 41 Mohammad Siraj got out LBW to opener Abdullah Shafiq. Jasprit Bumrah bowled best for India vs Pakistan. He took 2 wickets in 7 overs and his economy was just 2.71 runs per over. Kuldeep Yadav took 2 wickets for 35 runs in 10 overs. Ravindra Jadeja took 2 wickets after spending 38 runs. He has completed 100 ODI wickets in India. He became only the sixth player to do so. Siraj and Hardik also got 2 successes each.

Pakistani Team Collasped After Babar’s wicket

Captain Babar Azam scored a fifty for Pakistan. This was his first fifty against India in ODI. When Babar was out, Pakistan’s score had reached 155 runs for 3 wickets in the 30th over, But after this the Pakistani batsmen scattered.

The team lost 8 wickets within 36 runs and was all out at 191. In these, Rizwan was out on the score of 49. Hasan Ali scored 12 runs. Apart from him, no other batsman reached double figures.

Shreyas, who came to bat at number four, batted steadily. After Rohit’s dismissal, Shreyas made a partnership of 36 runs with KL Rahul. Shaheen Shah boosted Pakistan’s hopes by taking the wicket of Shubman in the third over itself, but due to Rohit’s explosive batting, the fall of this wicket did not make much difference.

Virat Kohli became the victim of Hasan Ali in the 10th over. After this, the next wicket of Rohit Sharma fell in the 22nd over, but by then the score had reached 156 runs. The remaining work was done by the partnership of Shreyas and Rahul.

India lead the table now with six points — ahead of New Zealand on net run-rate — after three straight wins. Pakistan, after their first loss of the tournament, have four points from three games and are fourth in the points table.

Team India’s next match will be against Bangladesh on October 19 in Pune. At the same time, Pakistan team will play against Australia in Bangalore on 20th.
