American Premier League To Kick Off on December 19
The tournament, spanning from December 19 to December 31, will feature seven teams competing for the prestigious trophy. Participating teams include Premium Afghanistan, Premium America, Premium Australia, Premium Canada, Premium India, Premium Pakistan, and Premium Windies. Each team will have a minimum of one and a maximum of two international players representing their country, with nine local (American) players mandated as per ICC guidelines. Additionally, the final playing eleven can include a maximum of six international players.
APL’s founder and CEO, Jay Mehta, expressed, “This concept aims to give fans a unique experience every time they attend the APL, and the match between Premium Indians and Premium Pax is one such spectacle. With stalwarts from both countries, cricket enthusiasts can expect high-intensity cricket action.”
