Sachin Tendulkar, the former opener of the Indian cricket team and widely revered as the God of Cricket, has shared his thoughts on India’s loss in the World Cup Final 2023. The Indian team had to face defeat in the final of the World Cup 2023, with Australia lifting the World Cup trophy for the sixth time.

Sachin Tendulkar extended congratulations to the Australian team for their title victory. Regarding Team India, he emphasized that we should not forget the brilliant performance exhibited by our team in this World Cup, although he also acknowledged that Team India faced unfortunate luck.

Coach Rahul Dravid also Expressed His Feelings

Earlier Indian Coach Rahul Dravid expressed that a score of 280 to 290 would have been much more competitive on this pitch, emphasizing that 240 runs were not secure. Rahul Dravid asserted that with an additional 30 to 40 runs, the team could have applied more pressure on the Australian side. He noted that the ball behaved more favorably for batting in the second innings, indicating the pitch’s improved conditions.

Rahul Dravid also commented on Rohit Sharma’s captaincy, praising him as a great leader who invested time and energy in building the team. Dravid highlighted Sharma’s availability for discussions, ability to set the team’s rhythm in every match, and positive approach to cricket. It’s noteworthy that in the World Cup final, Australia bowled out India for 240 runs. This wasn’t the first instance of all Indian batsmen being dismissed in a World Cup match. While chasing the target of 241 runs, the Australian team encountered a setback with three wickets falling for 47 runs. However, Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne showcased exceptional performances, guiding Australia to a 6-wicket victory in the final.
