Rahul Dravid asserted that with an additional 30 to 40 runs, the team could have applied more pressure on the Australian side. He noted that the ball behaved more favorably for batting in the second innings, indicating the pitch’s improved conditions.
Rahul Dravid also commented on Rohit Sharma’s captaincy, praising him as a great leader who invested time and energy in building the team. Dravid highlighted Sharma’s availability for discussions, ability to set the team’s rhythm in every match, and positive approach to cricket. He commended Sharma’s brilliant batting and expressed admiration for him as both a person and a leader, noting that Rohit led the team exceptionally well.
