By clinching the impressive victory in the fourth T20 in Raipur, Team India established an unassailable 3-1 lead in the 5-match T20 series. The fifth and final T20 is scheduled for December 3 in Bengaluru. Even if Australia wins, they won’t be able to clinch the series.

India posted a total of 174 runs, losing 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. In response, Australia could only manage 154/7 in their 20 overs. Rinku Singh contributed 46 runs for India, while Axar Patel took 3 crucial wickets.
India made four changes to their lineup: Mukesh Kumar replaced Prasidh Krishna, Deepak Chahar replaced Arshdeep Singh, Shreyas Iyer replaced Tilak Varma, and Jitesh Sharma replaced Ishan Kishan.

In the first over of the powerplay, Australian bowler Aaron Hardy kept the Indian openers under pressure by not conceding any runs. Team India opened their account with a leg buy, and the pair of Jaiswal and Gaikwad advanced the Indian innings.
India reached 50 runs in the powerplay, with Yashasvi Jaiswal scoring 37 runs before being dismissed by Aaron Hardy on the last ball of the powerplay.
Between the 7th and 16th overs, Team India lost 3 wickets, scoring 84 runs in those 10 overs. Suryakumar Yadav scored 1 run, and Shreyas Iyer scored 8 runs. Rinku Singh partnered with Ruturaj Gaikwad and Jitesh Sharma to push the team past 130, but Gaikwad departed for 32.
In the middle overs, the lower-middle-order batsmen of Team India took responsibility for scoring runs, reaching 134/4 in 16 overs with Rinku Singh and Jitesh Sharma at the crease. However, the Indian team lost 5 wickets for 40 runs in the last four overs, with Rinku Singh and Jitesh Sharma scoring 46 and 35 runs, respectively.
Chasing a target of 175 runs, Australia had a strong start, scoring 40 for no loss in the first 3 overs. Ravi Bishnoi, in the fourth over, took Josh Phillips’ wicket, and in the next over, Axar Patel had Travis Head caught by Mukesh Kumar. Australia reached 52/2 after the powerplay. Australia could only manage 154/7 in their 20 overs. Axar Patel took 3 important wickets.
