Virat Kohli has set a record for the most runs by any player in a single edition of the World Cup. Additionally, he achieved the milestone of scoring 50+ runs five times in a row, marking the third occurrence in the World Cup and the second time for Kohli himself. In this World Cup, Kohli’s run-scoring average of 95.62 stands as the second-highest record for any player amassing more than 500 runs.
