Sanju Samson Vs Railways– Sanju Samson once again showed his brillance with the bat in the Vijay Hazare Trophy against Railways. Sanju Samson wasn’t initially selected for Team India in the One Day World Cup.
However, with the upcoming series between India and South Africa, his name is now included in the ODI team for South Africa. He will be heading to South Africa soon. But even before this, Sanju Samson has already showcased his good form.
He played an outstanding explosive century in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, hitting boundaries and sixes. However, despite his efforts, his team had to face a defeat.

In the match played between Kerala and Railways in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, the Railway team , batting first, set a decent score of 255 runs for the loss of five wickets in the allotted 50 overs. Sahab Yuvraj played a fantastic century, scoring 121 runs, facing 136 balls, and hitting 13 boundaries along with a six during his innings. Additionally, Pratham Singh played a good inning, scoring 61 runs off 77 balls. This meant Kerala needed 256 runs to win.
Despite Sanju Samson’s Performance Railways Managed To Win By 18 Runs
The captaincy of Sanju Samson’s Kerala team faced an early setback when Rohan Kunnummal got out for zero on the fourth ball. Sachin Baby also returned to the pavilion after making nine runs.

Salman Nizar also got out for just two runs. Sanju Samson had to come in to bat next. He first partnered with Krishna Prasad and then with Shreyas Gopal. Sanju Samson played explosive batting and made a tremendous effort to lead his team to victory. During his innings, Sanju Samson faced 139 balls and played a powerful innings of 128 runs, hitting six sixes and eight boundaries.

However, he got out before the team could secure a win. After his dismissal, the remaining batsmen could not do much, and they got out playing small innings. Kerala scored 237 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 50 overs. This means that despite Sanju’s century, his team had to face a defeat by 18 runs.
