Namibia became the 19th team to qualify for the ninth edition of the T20 World Cup. The T20 World Cup 2024 is set to be hosted by the West Indies and the United States in june next year. This time 20 teams are participating in this short format of cricket, of which the 19th team has been decided today.
With the victory over Tanzania, Namibia became the first team from the Africa region to qualify. Namibia played superbly in the Qualifiers and has won five matches in a row. Namibia beat Tanzania by 58 runs on Tuesday to qualify for the 2024 T20 World Cup.
