Ravi Shastri, T20 World Cup 2024- Remember 2007 when India aced the T20 World Cup with Captain Cool, MS Dhoni? Well, winning it again has been a bit of a tough ride since then. But now, Coach Ravi Shastri is all pumped up, giving Team India a big thumbs-up for the 2024 T20 World Cup in the USA and West Indies.
Ravi Shastri Said Sachin Tendulkar Waited For Six World Cups To Win One
So, let’s fast forward to the big event, where 18 teams are getting ready, including two from Africa. The West Indies and England have been the champs twice, and India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Australia grabbed the trophy once. It’s like a cricket party!
But hold on, here comes Ravi Shastri with some wise words. He’s saying, “Hey, winning a World Cup is no picnic. Just ask Sachin Tendulkar, who had to wait six times before grabbing one.” It’s all about giving your best shot on the final day, no matter what happened before.
“When you cross the initial hurdle, there are only the top four teams and you have to do well in the last two matches. If you perform well in those two matches, you become the champion. Australia did the same, they lost their first two matches, but they did well when they needed to do well”, Shastri Said

Ravi Shastri said that India has a lot of young players for the upcoming T20 World Cup. The T20 World Cup will be held in the USA and West Indies from June 4. It’s probably not going to be easy in the ODI format because you have to build the team again. But in T20 cricket (World Cup), India will pose a serious challenge. The main players of the team have been identified and now your focus should be on the shorter format of the game.
